Features
Give the kitchen a clear item-wise cooking queue.
Track kitchen tickets by item and cooking status in Vyanzo, while keeping service-counter tokens separate from kitchen preparation.
No card needed to request a workspace. Software, setup and optional hardware are quoted separately.
Different dishes, distinct tickets
Kitchen-bound order items generate separate KOTs. Two plates of the same order item remain together with their quantity, while a different dish receives its own ticket. This makes the requested work easier to identify without combining several unrelated dishes into one cooking ticket.
Update the work as it moves
Kitchen staff use the cooking queue to see pending work and update preparation progress. The ticket carries the order reference, item quantity and any special instructions supplied with the order. Keep staff roles and kitchen station settings aligned with the people actually preparing the food.
Keep counter sales out of the cooking queue
Service-counter items follow the token route when that service is enabled and the menu item is configured for it. Those items do not create kitchen work. Use separate counter orders for that flow, rather than assuming the kitchen ticket can double as a customer collection token.
Set up the screen and printer together
A kitchen screen needs a supported browser, power and access to the configured backend. Printed KOT output also depends on the installed printer and routing settings. During setup, place a small order with multiple dishes, check each quantity and instruction, and verify the screen and physical slips together.
Common questions
Will two plates create two KOTs?
Two plates on the same order item stay together on one item-wise ticket. Different order items receive separate tickets.
Do counter-token items create KOTs?
No. Correctly configured service-counter items use the separate token workflow.
Can I use an existing kitchen monitor?
It may be suitable if its connected device can run the web interface and reach the backend. Confirm the complete device and printer setup before service.
