No card needed to request a workspace. Software, setup and optional hardware are quoted separately.
Match access to responsibility
An owner manages the business and configuration, while a cashier handles selling and collections and kitchen staff work on cooking tasks. Role-aware navigation reduces the screens a person must work through. The selected restaurant’s configuration also determines whether Simple Counter, the regular dashboard or both are appropriate.
Assign the correct branches
Give staff access only to the outlets where they work. Choosing a different branch in the interface does not override the backend’s permission checks. Use an owner or manager account for branch settings, and avoid sharing one owner login among the entire team.
Keep sensitive setup with authorised people
Merchant account submission and review, guest offer contacts and some management actions require elevated access. Staff who can download a guest QR card do not automatically receive the list of guest phone numbers. Review role and branch assignments when someone changes their job.
Make the first shift easy
Practise the exact tasks each person will perform: a cashier sale, a kitchen status update and an owner review. Use the existing help and walkthrough screens as appropriate. Check the account on the intended device so the first service is not the first time staff encounter its workspace.
Common questions
Does hiding a menu item secure the action?
The backend must also authorise the request. Vyanzo applies role and branch checks to protected operations.
Can cashiers download a QR without seeing contacts?
Yes. QR viewing and downloads are separate from owner/manager access to offer signup contacts.
Can a restaurant keep the regular dashboard?
Yes. Workspace access is a restaurant configuration choice; Simple Counter is not mandatory for every branch.
