Features

Sell counter items with a bill and clear item tokens.

Configure a separate restaurant service counter for chaat or ready items, with cashier-controlled availability and item tokens instead of KOTs.

No card needed to request a workspace. Software, setup and optional hardware are quoted separately.

Enable the counter for the restaurant

Service counter is an explicit restaurant configuration choice. A branch that does not use that flow should not show it as a mandatory way to sell food. Mark the relevant menu items for counter service and keep kitchen-prepared dishes on their normal kitchen route.

Keep the order separate

Use a separate counter order and bill for the counter workflow. Kitchen items continue through normal orders. This separation makes it clear which transaction creates cooking work and which produces customer tokens; it avoids a mixed order silently sending every selected item to the kitchen.

Print the token with the bill

The counter bill includes detachable item-token slips for its counter items. Customers receive the token to use when collecting the item. This flow does not require a dedicated staff collection screen or a staff member marking each token collected. Confirm the item name and quantity on a sample printed bill.

Let the cashier manage what can be sold

The cashier controls availability for the items offered at the counter. Update availability before an item runs out so guests and staff do not keep selecting it. During setup, check that a counter sale produces the expected tokens and creates no KOT, while a normal kitchen order still reaches the cooking queue.

Common questions

Does a counter item create a kitchen ticket?

No. A correctly configured counter item uses the counter-token workflow.

Is a token printed separately from its bill?

Counter item tokens are attached as detachable slips to the counter bill output.

Does every restaurant have to enable a service counter?

No. Enable it only for restaurants using that service model.
